My 2006 Nissan Xtrail Now For Sale

Hi all – I’m returning to the States in a couple of months (mostly for health reasons), so I’m selling my beloved Nissan Xtrail. For those of you in the States where this car was not available until recently, it is equivalent to a Nissan Rogue.  I dearly love this car and wish I could keep it, but even if I could get it into my suitcase, it exceeds Delta’s weight limits. (Je je.) So. For anyone interested, here’s the scoop:

Clean, excellent condition. New front tires 2017, rear tires good for at least 1 more year. Full size spare in cargo area. Runs like a dream, rides well, good pickup.

Avg. gas 11 km/liter (30 mpg). Well maintained. Three owners, all non-smoking, conservative drivers – LOW MILEAGE: under 73,000 km (45,360 miles). Registered &  insured in Las Tablas through Oct. 2017.

Everything works. Seats 5 with seatbelts for all, lots of cargo space behind rear seats which fold down flat. AC with lots of vents. Passenger and driver vanity mirrors, electrically adjustable side mirrors, center rear view mirror with night vision switch, Pioneer brand easily removable (for security) cd/radio combination, lots of hidden storage compartments, AC cooled cup holders in front, cigarette lighter and ashtray (never used), overhead adjustable light, separate cargo area light, variable wipers, rear wiper, pockets on back of front seats, tinted electric windows, alarm system, 2 key sets both with fresh batteries. Brakes are good, battery is good. Hazard lights, high/low beams, etc.

What’s wrong with it? Well, there is a stain on the back side of the rear passenger seat, visible in the cargo area. I have no idea what it’s from, but it doesn’t scrub off. And I admit the AC is a bit weak and the AC fan tends to rattle above the 2 setting, but I usually have the windows open anyway, so that hasn’t been a problem for me. There is some road noise (i.e., you can hear the tires on the road), but to me that means I’m moving right along, so that’s never bothered me either. And she has a few chips and dings, as you would reasonably expect from a matron of her age, though not very many.

Asking $7250, BELOW MARKET but lightly negotiable anyway. Please compare price to Xtrails listed on Encuentra 24 (same year, higher mileage, higher prices!) You may contact me initially through this blog.

It’s listed on Encuentra24.com and on panama.CraigsList.org
